The Tarantula Dream

One night, as I slept on my back, I started dreaming. Towards the foot of my bed, in the left corner of my room on the ceiling, was a giant tarantula hanging upside-down.  It had black prickily hair covering it's enormous body and legs.  It's body was as big as my torso and it's legs were as long as my arms and there were eight of them.

I was petrified.  It started to move towards me very slowly.  It inched it's way down the wall. I remember trying to bind this evil thing in the name of Jesus.  Trying to speak but, I could only studder.  ah, ah, I, ba, ba, bi.   The words wouldn't come out.  The giant tarantula climbed down the wall and on top of my stomach. I couldn't speak and I knew that this thing was going to bite me.  As the frustration of forcing my speach intensified, finally I shouted, NO!  It raised it's body up, turned and looked at me, then vanished.   Whew!

I learned that night that We already have Jesus/Holy Spirit living inside of us.  If/Since, we believe that Jesus died to save us, even while we were still sinning.  And that He was raised from the dead.  We confess/proclaim that Jesus is Lord,  the devil is under our feet. Forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Fill us with your Holy Spirit Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Just say No! Has new meaning now.  Before I go to sleep, I pray that the devil must stay out of my dreams in the name of Jesus Christ  and I don't have bad dreams anymore.  There are times when I don't pray, wondering if I had prayed long enough, meaning: night after night.  Another twisted dream will show up but nothing as terrifying as that giant tarantula.

So, in conclusion, read your bible, say your prayers and rejoice in the Lord Always.  Have a blessed day.
